9:00 AM from Kyoto Station Hachijo Entrance Square Sunken Garden

Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to departure. You may choose to disembark in either Osaka or Kyoto at the end of the tour. Just let us know your drop-off preference when booking.

Bus/Coach( 1 Hour)

Kinkaku-ji: The Golden Pavilion (40 mins)

Marvel at the shimmering gold-leaf exterior of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Originally built in 1397, its brilliant reflection on the "Mirror Pond" remains one of the most breathtaking images in all of Japan.

Kiyomizu-dera area( 2.5 hours)

We will visit Kiyomizu-dera, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its iconic wooden stage that juts out from the main hall, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Kyoto.

Ninenzaka

Ninenzaka, a historic stone-paved slope famous for its preserved traditional townhouses and charming souvenir shops leading up to Kiyomizu-dera.

Yasaka Koshin-do (optional)

Next, we will visit Yasaka Koshin-do, a vibrant temple famous for its colorful "Kukurizaru" (hanging monkey) charms and traditional red pagoda.

Uji ((1.5 hours)

We will visit Uji, the origination place of Japanese matcha and home to the historic Byodoin Temple.

A scenic waterway renowned as the setting for The Tale of Genji and famous for its historic bridges and riverside tea houses.

Byodo-in Omotesando

Byodo-in Temple

We will visit and explore Byodoin Temple, a masterpiece of Heian-era Buddhist architecture.

A historic Shinto site renowned for its traditional architecture and serene atmosphere along the Uji River.
