We'll start the day with convenient departures:
• 8:00 AM from Osaka
• 9:00 AM from Kyoto

First, we'll visit Nara Park (1 hour) — home to over 1,000 friendly,free-roaming deer considered sacred messengers of the gods. You'll have time to feed, pet, and take photos with these gentle creatures in a serene park setting.

Next, we'll explore Fushimi Inari Taisha (1 hour 10 minutes), Kyoto's most iconic shrine. Walk through the breathtaking tunnel of thousands of vibrant vermilion torii gates winding up the mountainside — a spiritual journey believed to bring prosperity and success.

Then, we'll head to Arashiyama (2 hours 30 minutes), one of Kyoto's most picturesque districts, with many natural scenery.

In Arashiyama, you'll enjoy:

  • A peaceful stroll through the legendary Bamboo Grove, where towering stalks create a soothing, otherworldly atmosphere.
  • A visit to Nonomiya Shrine, a historic sanctuary once used by imperial princesses.
  • Panoramic views from the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge over the Hozugawa River.
  • Kimono Forest — an illuminated art installation featuring 600 glowing pillars wrapped in Kyoto's traditional Kyo-Yuzen silk patterns.
  • (Optional) Entry to Tenryu-ji Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site),famed for its Zen rock garden and masterful "borrowed scenery" landscape design.

You'll also have free time to enjoy local street food, relax at the Arashiyama footbath,or snap cheerful photos at the Rilakkuma Tea House.
